Meet Megan

I'm in my late 40's and have been on my own dating journey to find a partner to share my incredible life with, but so exhausted with the dating apps.

My first company, Powerful Partners, was a community for women entrepreneurs and I grew that through hosting dinner parties and networking events for women.

I loved the work but in 2022 it no longer felt aligned so I closed the doors.

That year was rough.  I did some deep work on myself with coaches, healers and attended a Dr. Joe Dispenza retreat.

Soon after, I crossed paths with a woman who had the idea to host upscale events for singles.  That sounded amazing to me!  We planned on partnering - I would manage the events and she would bring the people.

That plan didn't work out, but I couldn't stop thinking about the idea so I started asking people if it was something they'd be interested in.  Everyone said "YES!"

I hosted a dinner party for singles at the end of March 2024 and the feedback was great!  Several people went on dates afterwards!

Two weeks later, I fell and broke both of my wrists at the same time.

I moved back in with my parents for 2 months as I struggled to do basic things like brush my teeth or take a shower.

The accident was one of the best things that ever happened to me.  So many blessings emerged... Throwback Dating was one of them.

While I was healing I receive a very clear message from Source that this is the work I'm meant to do and now is the time.

I did a lot of research on the industry and realized that no one is serving the over 40 market of singles.

With the divorce rate at over 600,000 divorces a year in the US... there has to be a solution to serve these wonderful people who are looking for a partner to spend the second half of their life with.

I began putting a business plan together and to my surprise, my parents offered to be my first investors!

Since launching in October I've interviewed hundreds of singles over 40.  Each conversation confirms how important this work is and helps me understand how to build an amazing community for all of us.

Right now I'm still learning and tweaking as I go, and we're growing quickly.

My goal is to create the first social club for high quality singles over 40 that will be the go-to for anyone looking to develop wonderful friendships and eventually meet that special someone they can enjoy a life of travel and fun activities with.
